Returns & Refunds Policy
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you have the right to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product:
- Has a major problem (significantly different from description, unsafe, or unfit for purpose)
- Has a minor problem that cannot be fixed within a reasonable time
- Does not match the description, sample, or demonstration model
These rights apply regardless of any store policy and cannot be excluded or limited.
Change of Mind
While we are not legally required to offer refunds for change of mind, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and we will do our best to resolve the issue.
For change-of-mind returns, items must be:
- Unused and in original packaging
- Returned at the customer's expense
How to Request a Return
- Email us at hello@decluttrd.com.au with your order number and reason for return.
- We will respond within 24 hours with return instructions.
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund within 5-7 business days.
Damaged or Faulty Products
If your product arrives damaged or faulty, please email us with photos of the damage within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including shipping.
Refund Processing
Refunds are processed back to your original payment method. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer.
